I have been designing and teaching courses at professional and casual venues, both in-person and online, since 2013. I try to be intuitive and person-centred in my approach, and recognise that artists teach and students sign up for courses for a huge range of reasons. Understanding your own teaching aims and intentions will be key to building your course offering and identifying who your students are, and is something we will work on during the course.

This course is presentation/discussion based and will be hosted on Zoom. I will email you one week prior to the course date with your Zoom link. This course will be limited to 10 students to ensure individual support and time to ask questions.

Please note courses run on London time.

I’ve done several online zoom classes with Catherine and they never disappoint. This was not only packed with information but we discussed the many legal and health & safety issues as well as marketing and self promotion, tools, projects etc. Catherine has a lovely gentle teaching style which never seems hurried but which covers every aspect in detail during the session. Her class notes sent are extremely useful too. There is always time for questions and as most classes are small this is very manageable. I’m signed up for another zoom class soon, can’t wait.
