Intermediate Techniques TWO - 6 Month Online Course (Thursdays)
Intermediate Techniques TWO - 6 Month Online Course (Thursdays)
This course is designed as a follow-on course from Intermediate Techniques.
An online course combining monthly live tutorials with ongoing email support, exploring a variety of intermediate kiln-forming techniques. Each month will begin with a 2-hour long video call, where I will demonstrate from start to finish that month’s technique/s. You will then get email support from me to directly support that learning during the month. You will receive my comprehensive written notes and materials list for each of the techniques, which I will email one week ahead of each session so you will know what to expect. This means that when the video call takes place you will already have a basic understanding of the process and be exploring design ideas and thinking of questions - this is the most beneficial time for face-to-face discussion.
Each session will be hosted and recorded on Zoom. The recording will be available for you to stream online throughout the month if you need to and replaced each month by the new session.
These courses are suitable for both COE90 and COE96 users, with technical information and firing guides adapted for those taking the course.
This is an intermediate course, requiring a basic understanding of glass fusing skills and firing programs. If you’re a beginner or need a refresher, you may wish to take my Intro to Glass Fusing 3hr Course or Beginner Techniques 6 Month Course first. Students must have access to a glass fusing kiln. Material costs are each student’s responsibility and are not included with the course.
